WHat people who have worked with Monroe  SAY

Monroe has a wonderful mind for large-scale productions. He can move large groups of people around the stage in a graceful manner. He has helped me to physicalize this role so that I feel comfortable crouching, crawling and flying around the stage. I have so much respect for his passion and his attention to detail while seamlessly choreographing scene changes, dance numbers, and actors into the fabric of the story.

Beast :Beauty & The Beast

Monroe Moore's inventive production is, quite rightly, playing to packed houses. Anyone interested in good productions of musicals should hot foot it to the Hobby Center  to catch Moore’s work. Everything is crystal clear, the pacing never flags and the overall sense is one of absolute joy.

Also marvelous is choreography devised by Monroe Moore, with his show-stopping numbers including, but not limited to, an interpretation of the film’s now famous “Under the Sea” number, right down to crab Sebastian’s “crustacean band.” The sequence also is colorful enough to earn respect from the child inside each of us.

A standing ovation said it all from the audience and the musical will not disappoint in making you utterly uplifted with it’s own macabre charm. If by the time you’ve gotten to the end of this review and tickets have not sold out completely, GO! Book some immediately! Or you’ll have missed a performance that others will be raving about until well into the New Year.

Once On This Island

★★★★
Monroe Moore has assembled an outstanding cast who does justice to those Menken songs and music director Kay Jackosn works wonders with her six-piece band. Of course, the star of the show is Audrey II, a wonderful creation… a highly entertaining, full-of-fun show.

Little Shop of Horros

★★★★
Monroe Moore's version works well for both fans and newcomers. For those who have seen the show before, there’s added intrigue and pizazz.  You will love this production of Chicago.

Demand for tickets has been so high with nightly standing ovations that the theatre has extended the run of Beauty of The Beast  by two weeks. But don’t leave it too late before you book or you may miss out on this highly entertaining musical.

West Side Story  brought the audience to its feet…roaring its approval after two hours of memorable musical fun. The standing ovation was richly deserved as this is completely flawless in every respect.

Give Monroe Moore credit for much of Moonlight Broadway’s “Tarzan” emerging as unexpected fun — a “don’t miss” show for families — telegraphed in advance by twisting, imaginative and notably green set pieces that could not possibly be hidden behind a curtain as audiences file into the theater..
